Food Safety and Quality
Seven Seas International prides itself on supplying safe and high quality seafood products to its customers. All our farms, plants and processing facilities are HACCP certified. At a minimum we also are BRC Grade A or IFS Higher Level certified at all our locations. We are audited annually for all of our food safety certifications and employ a dedicated food safety staff to guarantee continued compliance with the standards set forth in these certifications. Good hygienic practices in the handling, manufacturing and transportation of fish and fish products, and adequate refrigeration throughout, can greatly reduce outbreaks of fish-borne illnesses. Measures that ensure high standards of quality and safety, by implication, will also reduce post-harvest losses.
